Eunae Kim

Currently, I am a Ph.D. candidate in Language and Literacy Learning in Multilingual Settings in the Department of Teaching and Learning at the University of Miami. 

My research examines Korean as a Foreign Language (KFL) education, Korean heritage language learners (HLLs) in transnational and multilingual contexts, and technology-enhanced language learning. 

Prior to my PhD training, I taught Korean as a full-time lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to teaching courses across all levels, including introductory, heritage language, and content-and-language integrated courses, I was actively involved in developing pedagogical innovations, which resulted in various awards and grants, presentations at national conferences, and the development of teaching materials for new open-source textbooks.
