I have conducted Korean language and culture initiatives, sponsored by the Michele Bowman Underwood Department of Modern Languages and Literature and The Korean Education Center in Atlanta. I also partnered with the Korean Student Association (KOSA) to support their efforts to establish a formal presence within the university. These efforts culminated in the university's recent decision to offer its first undergraduate general education course on Korean culture, titled "Contemporary Korea: Language, Media, and Culture."
